Merkel: EU can extend Russian sanctions if sees no peace in Ukraine

BERLIN, Oct 23 (PRIME) -- The E.U. may prolong sanctions against Russia if the Ukraine peace pact conditions are not met on time, German Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters Friday.

If there are delays with fulfillment of the agreements made in Minsk, the sanctions will be revised accordingly, she said.
